Voice, Video, and Screen Share

TABLE’s voice, video, and screen share features help you collaborate with customers using more than just chat.  Agents can start a call in just one click and the features require no external tools, or phone number to use.

Note: Before you get started, please make sure your camera and microphone are enabled for TABLE. 

Starting a Voice Call

  1. Select a Conversation
  2. Click on the voice button in messenger input
  3. Wait for other members of the Conversation to join. They will receive a notification when the voice call is started and can click the blue "Join" button.

Starting a Video Call

  1. Select a Conversation
  2. Click on the video button in the messenger input
  3. Wait for other members of the Conversation to join. They will receive a notification when the voice call is started and can click the blue "Join" button.
Note: Voice and video calls have all the same features, except your camera is set to automatically turn on when a video call is started or joined.

Using the Screen Share Feature

The screen sharing feature can be enabled during a voice or video call to enhance collaboration. 

  1. Select a Conversation
  2. Start a voice or video call by selecting the voice or video button in the messenger input
  3. When on the call, select the "Share your screen" icon in the lower left corner
  4. In the browser popup, select the screen or the window you’d like to share

When people join the call they will be able to see your screen. To stop screen sharing, simply return to the call and click on the icon again.

Note: On mobile, Customers and Agents cannot share their screens, but they can view others during a screen share.

Joining Voice or Video Calls

When someone starts a voice or video call, the other members of the Conversation will receive a notification and a message will appear within the Conversation.

To join just click the browser or app notification, or manually select the Conversation in which the call was started, then click the “Join” button.

Using the Call Functions

Once you have started or joined a voice or video call, you can click the icons to use the different call functions.

  • Mute or unmute your microphone
  • Turn your camera on or off
  • Start or stop screen sharing
  • Enter or exit full screen by clicking the ... icon in the lower right corner
  • Leave the call

The call does not end until the final person leaves the call. If the call is ongoing, anyone can join the call again.

Using the Voice, Video, and Screen Sharing Features on Mobile

TABLE Conversations can be accessed on mobile devices through our Agent apps or mobile browsers. Mobile supports voice and video calls the same as desktop. Customers and Agents cannot share their screen on mobile, but they can view someone else’s screen share.
